This is Moving Out Of Mum and Dad’s. Aptly named as I am a child of the Boomerang Generation and I think I’m on move out number six.
I’m a 25 year old, English girl working my way around the world. In 2009 I moved out for the first time to attend university in the beautiful city of Lincoln, England. Back then, I found that living away from home was a wretched affair and questioned the sanity of anyone who didn’t “go home for the weekend.”
Having made homes and friends in a handful of countries since then, I am back in the UK to continue my education with a PGCE. I expect that following the 2017/2018 academic year I’ll be back to more frequent trips but for now, I’ll be exploring pastures closer to Cambridgeshire.
