December 2013, England In A Nutshell: Money Matters

Again, I’m still in Spalding, England. Come June this will all change, as I have exciting news to report in another post coming shortly.

Lodging: £0

Food: £177.31

Entertainment (inc. alcohol): £68.51

Activities: £14.80

Transport: £204.58

Misc: £87.46

Internet (inc. phone bills): £42

Visas: £0

TOTAL: £594.66

Despite it being christmas this month we have done exceptionally well in budgeting. We spent at least £30 on christmas gifts for all the family (still being cheapo’s with handmade gifts that I have yet to write a post about).

No Unexpected Splurges this month though, which was wonderful.

Unexpected Splurges: £0

GRAND TOTAL: £594.66 (Daily Avg. £19.18)

Unfortunately, because I am using my tablet (and an app version of wordpress) I am unable to upload the link for the file but I have done my best to upload the screen shots of the spreadsheet.

Thank you to Shannon at A Little Adrift once again for the spreadsheet.

January is considerably more exciting as we begin to buy the first few bits for our big adventure abroad, start building up our references as house sitters and revisit the place where it all began! It’s going to be an exciting year!
